Cookie Policy

This is an English translation provided for convenience. If the two versions differ, the Turkish version prevails.

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on the doctoli.com website, operated under the Doctoli brand by OLIVOV BİLİŞİM SANAYİ TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ ("OLIVOV" or the "Company"). OLIVOV is the data controller for personal data processed through cookies. General information on the processing of your personal data and your rights is in the Privacy Notice.

2. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves in your browser. It lets the site recognise you on your next visit, remember your preferences or measure how the site is used. The browser's local storage (localStorage) and session storage (sessionStorage) can be used for similar purposes; in this policy we call all of these "cookies".

3. Types of cookies we use

Necessary (always on). Needed for the site to work and to remember your cookie choice; they cannot be turned off. doctoli.com keeps only two records for this: the doctoli-cerez record in your browser's local storage (your choice and its date, 6 months) and the dc-intro record in session storage (remembers that the opening animation on the home page has been shown in this tab; deleted when the tab is closed). These records are not sent to our server.

When the early access form comes near the screen, Cloudflare Turnstile loads for human verification. Turnstile processes technical information such as IP address and browser information to protect the form from bots; it is not used for advertising or tracking. Because it is required for security, it does not depend on your cookie preferences, and it does not load unless the early access form comes near the screen. Details are in Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum. Because the site is served through Cloudflare, the __cf_bm cookie may also be set for security if Cloudflare's bot protection is on.

The legal ground for necessary cookies is that they are required to provide a service, and legitimate interest (KVKK Art. 5/2-c and 5/2-f).

Statistics (only with your consent). Measures the number of visits, the pages viewed and their duration, and the page the site was opened from. Tool: Google Analytics 4.

Experience analytics (only with your consent). Builds click maps and session recordings from clicks, scrolling and mouse movements on the page. Tools: Microsoft Clarity and Yandex Metrica (Webvisor and click map). Yandex Metrica also keeps visit statistics. What you type into the early access form is marked to be hidden in session recordings (data-clarity-mask for Microsoft Clarity, ym-hide-content for Yandex Metrica).

The tools of the types you allow also collect device and browser type, screen size and approximate location (city/country). The legal ground for these cookies is your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1). If you do not allow them, the tools do not load, your browser sends no requests to Google, Microsoft or Yandex for this purpose and your access to the site is not restricted in any way. No advertising cookies are used on doctoli.com.

Cookies starting with _ga, _ga_DH1Z911VBB, _clck, _clsk and _ym_ are set on the doctoli.com domain by these tools' scripts. Cookies such as CLID, MUID, yandexuid and yabs-sid are set by the providers on their own domains (e.g. clarity.ms, yandex.ru). Providers may change the names and durations of cookies from time to time; up-to-date information is in each provider's own privacy policy.

5. Transfers abroad

Data collected by the tools you allow is transferred to the providers' servers abroad: mainly the United States and European Union countries for Google and Microsoft, and the Russian Federation for Yandex. This transfer is based on the explicit consent you give in your cookie preferences (KVKK Art. 9). When you withdraw your consent, these tools are not loaded.

Technical data processed by Cloudflare Turnstile and Cloudflare's security service goes to the servers of Cloudflare, Inc. (USA); this transfer is made to deliver and secure the site and under the conditions in Article 9 of the KVKK. The form itself and the information in it are not sent to Cloudflare Turnstile.

6. Managing your preferences

On the banner that appears when you first open the site, you can allow both types at once with Accept or open the panel with Change Preferences. In the panel you can switch types on one by one and press Save choices, or choose Accept all, Necessary only or Reject. Until you make a choice, statistics and experience analytics tools are not loaded.

You can change your choice at any time from the Cookie Preferences link in the site's footer or the link below; the panel shows your current choices. When you turn off a type you had turned on, the cookies of that type's tools on the doctoli.com domain are deleted and the page reopens without those tools. The site cannot delete cookies that providers set on their own domains (e.g. MUID, yandexuid); you can delete them in your browser settings. You will be asked again after 6 months or when the tools we use change.

Cookie Preferences

You can also view and delete cookies in your browser settings (Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security; Safari: Settings → Privacy; Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security; Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions). If you block local storage or all cookies, your choice may not be saved and you may be asked on every visit; if you block necessary cookies, the early access form may not work.

7. Contact

For questions about cookies, write to olivov@olivov.com or call +90 850 888 0 654. Your rights under the KVKK and how to apply are explained in the Privacy Notice.
